catalyze change
Franco Égalité is an illustrator and artist who lives and works in Montreal, Canada. Raised by his single mother, he learned to hold a pen and draw a line before being able to walk on both feet. He now knows how and how to walk, but he has not stopped drawing his line. The sensual and captivating drawings of Franco E. take us into a world where the body plays and freely exposes itself. The bright colors highlight the curves and expressions of these welcoming and fiery characters, and although its creator claims to be influenced by cubism and the aesthetic concept of Japanese Ma, we are drawn into this vibrant graphic universe. Thus, a palette of emotions and ideas is offered to the viewer, free to let themselves be caught by these sublimated bodies.
