Mural Festival.
Founded in 2013, The Montreal Mural festival has become one of the city’s Landmark (LNDMRK) events: a true celebration of art and culture.
What started as a humble 3-day artistic event, has now morphed into a massive free 11 day iconic gathering attracting 500K+ festival goers annually with programming that revolves mainly around the live creation of Murals, massive block parties with International musical acts(Post Malone, Pusha-T, Schoolboy Q), outdoor artisan shops & food offerings and much much more.
Since its inauguration, the festival has created 100+ permanent murals in the city, including the iconic homage to the late Leonard Cohen.
In 2019, the festival expanded to Toronto and is continuing its quest to democratize art Worldwide and position Montreal as a leader in the community.
