Approaching the sensitive through gentleness
Kezna Dalz is a multidisciplinary artist from Montreal. Her work is recognized by her raw features and bright colors. The recurring themes addressed are feminism, the fight against racism, popular culture as well as the relationship to sexuality. She tackles sometimes difficult subjects, making them accessible with the help of a pastel and soft universe with naive features.

What does your dream project look like?
I would really like to create a mural with bright colors in a centralized place with a message that would bring a smile to all the people who see it. A positive message that serves as a reminder that everything will be fine.

A raw and committed work that comes from the heart and aims to promote human connection and acceptance.
What would you like to be recognized for?
For my use of bright colors that do good and for my desire for positivity and my hope in humanity.
What impact does your artistic practice have?
A positive impact on my mental health and I dare to hope for an impact on other artists who would like to start professionally.
