Royalmount x Mural
Royalmount’s urban Park in Montreal is the cities most electrifying cultural hotspot. From August 15 to September 7, this unprecedented collaboration turned the outdoor space into a dynamic open-air gallery, weaving together immersive visual art, pulsating live music, and regenerative wellness activations across four vibrant weekends. Montréal-based digital artist Melissa Mathieson known as MelissaLikesSushi introduced fantastical, inflatable installations that delighted visitors with their color, interactivity, and sense of wonder.
Meanwhile, the park pulsed with block parties and DJ performances by local collectives like Frikiton, Bonne Famille, Terrasse Season, and MOONSHINE, infusing each weekend with infectious energy and celebration.
Every Sunday offered restorative wellness sessions—yoga, meditative practices, and sensory workshops—creating a thoughtful balance between high-spirited urban festivity and mindful reconnection. This collaboration not only marked MURAL’s first expansion beyond its traditional boulevard Saint-Laurent canvas but also commemorated Royalmount’s first anniversary with a bold cultural gesture that elevated its identity as an inclusive, creative urban destination.
